Low and behold, I have started a blog! Not necessarily for any intent or purpose (I'm just an average girl with normal hopes, dreams and ambitions). Ok, maybe not so normal. I am unashamedly a born again, evangelical Christian. My greatest desire is to be more like Christ every day and to love Him deeper every day. It is my desire that if people stumble across this blog, that they will hear the law and the Gospel and they will repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ alone. If you are reading this blog, please read all the way to the end of this post. This is the most important information you will hear in your entire life. Could you for a moment focus on the most important issue in your life-where you will spend eternity (Heaven or hell). How do you find out? Simply look at the Ten Commandments (God's standard of perfection). Have you lied? Stolen (anything)? Blasphemed (ex.OMG)?, Hated someone? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her HAS committed adultery already with her in his heart." On Judgement Day, will you be found innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? Even if you are a "good" person by MAN's standard the Bible warns that all liars, thieves, fornicators (sex outside marriage), & adulterers will end up in Hell. You & I are guilty and would go to Hell forever. So what will you do on that day?
"GOOD NEWS": God Himself made THE way for you to be forgiven! Jesus suffered and died on the cross to satisfy the demands of God's Law. WE broke God's Law, Jesus paid OUR fine, now He can legally dismiss our case. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Then He rose from the dead, defeating death! Today I beg you to REPENT (turn from sin) & (turn to Christ) TRUSTING in Christ ALONE for your salvation, LET GO of your good works that canNOT save you. Doing 'good works' to impress God is to 'bribe' God by your own "SELF"-righteousness, which is a severe abomination to Him. God IS good so He can't just let you go, "the wages (payment) of sin is death", God IS loving He's made a way for you THROUGH Jesus Christ! You don't know--you may be one of the 150,000 people that will die today! So please HUMBLE yourself... repent & trust CHRIST right now! Read your Bible daily & obey what you read, He'll never let you down. It's not about happiness, it's about righteousness, you need to be made 'right' with God.
